Or are a member of the parish electoral roll,
Or have a qualifying connection with the church, we would love to conduct your marriage service at St Wilfrid’s
If either of you have been married before then please have a conversation with one of our ministry team
There are a number of qualifying connections that will enable us to marry you here
For details please see the
[Qualifying Connections Form]
Meeting the Minister

You will need to have a conversation with one of the ministry team. The minister who will be officiating at your wedding will met you and discuss your plans and help you create a memorable meaningful service
They can help you plan the musical elements of the service as well as Bible readings, poems and the marriage liturgy
Getting the Legal Stuff sorted

A marriage service is a wonderful celebration of the love between two people. It is also a legal ceremony, and therefore there are certain requirements that need to be met and fees that need to be paid.
You will need to complete the Banns of Marriage form. In order to do this you will need to see some form of photo ID. The Banns of Marriage takes place a number of weeks before the wedding day
You will also need to complete the Marriage Document which is the legal documentation that you will sign of your wedding day
