But Jesus often withdrew to lonely places and prayed.
Luke 5:17

There are many opportunities at St Wilfrid’s for us to follow Jesus’ example: the church is open for prayer during daylight hours.

We meet for Morning Prayer at 9am on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday.
Prayer is an essential part of our main services on Sunday and Thursday.

A small group of people meet to pray for the world in our upstairs hall at 10.30 on Sunday.

We pray for each other and for those who have especially asked for our prayers through our Prayer Chain and at the close of our services.

Home groups give further opportunity for prayer.

If you or someone you know would value prayer for a particular situation, please contact our Vicar Ian at vicar@stwilfridscowplain.co.uk.
