Church Grounds and Garden
A driveway alongside the church leads to our car park with space for 47 cars and the Vicarage . To the east of the Church is a well maintained quiet garden, the flower borders contain a variety of shrubs and plants giving a range of colour throughout the year. The northeast corner of the garden has been consecrated for the interment of ashes. Access is by five steps with a handrail or by a grassed ramp for wheelchairs. A gate through the hedge leads to The Orchard, our beautiful garden with fruit trees which is a place for reflection and recreation.
What's on during the week at St Wilfrid's
Helen O’Grady Drama Academy meets at St Wilfrid’s Church every Friday from 5pm to 7pm. The academy caters for children and young people from the ages of 5 to 17 years.
Our aim is to develop on-going confidence, self-esteem and skill in verbal communication.
Classes cover speech, movement, creative drama, language development, theatre arts and of course are lots of fun!
Throughout the year we hold two parent days, where we perform skills learnt and present each student with certificates of merit and achievements.
We also have an annual show in July, performing in a local theatre which is particularly exciting and a fantastic experience for the young performers.
We hope to enable young people to make friends and enjoy the benefits of the Helen O’Grady drama program.
If interested in joining please contact Andrea Ward the Principal on 023 92258256 or email firstname.lastname@example.org
