I became a Christian aged 11 in Leicestershire. Since then, I have served in different churches, been on mission opportunities in the UK and abroad and worked in children’s, youth and church work. At the age of 12 I felt God call me to leadership ministry within the church and so I have explored this calling on my life. I felt my vocation drawing me to ordained ministry and at the age of 24 I began my full time studies at St. John’s College, Nottingham. Whilst studying there I got married to Emily and our first daughter Chloe was born. Chloe is now aged 12 and we have another daughter Leah who is aged 6.

I left Nottingham and moved to Wiltshire to serve my curacy within the Church of England and was ordained Deacon. In 2014 I had the opportunity to work as a Church and Community Worker for the Bristol and South Gloucestershire Methodist Circuit and also as Associate Minister of St. Anne’s church, Oldland which is part of the Bristol Diocese. I worked with eight churches in the East part of Bristol and served as a chaplain to a local heritage railway line at Avon Valley Railway. In 2019 I moved to become Associate Priest in Rhyl in the Aber Morfa Mission Area consisting of 6 churches along the coast. I was based in Rhyl town itself with two churches and over time became Priest in Charge at St. Ann’s Church, Rhyl. As part of moving to Rhyl I was priested at St. Asaph Cathedral.

Before being ordained, I had a range of jobs including working for the local government, landscape gardening and youth work with Youth For Christ (YFC). During my time here in Rhyl I have been a Local Authority Governor at a local primary school and part of the division Girl guiding team. I have lots of interests which include walking, playing football and playing different musical instruments as well as doing cross switch and eating cake. Of course, my first passion in life is Christ and his church and my deepest hope is to see others being passionate about Christ and his church too. I hope to be a faithful Priest in Charge / Vicar and fellow servant in the Lord
