Community Coffee Cup

Westbrook Hall, Tempest Avenue, Cowplain, PO7 8NU

(next to the Plough and Barleycorn and right by Tesco and local shops)

Community Coffee Cup is open on the 2nd and 4th Saturday morning each month from 10-12. It is FREE for all ages.

We all know that weekends can be lonely times for people on their own. Community Coffee Cup is the place to meet, chat, catch up on the news, etc.

Hosted by St Wilfrid's Cowplain and staffed by our volunteers, we give FREE refreshments to the community, including fresh Fairtrade coffee and tea, together with juices, toast, cakes, and biscuits. It’s just one of the ways in which we try to serve the local community.

It’s also a great place for families. We have games and toys available for children, which is especially welcome when the weather isn’t good enough for children to play in the park next door. Even when it’s sunny, this is a great place to rest afterwards. We also provide information and offers on local services and entertainment, together with various cards for sale. Even on wet days everyone will get a warm and sunny welcome!

Community Coffee Cup is ideal for mums, dads, aunties, uncles, grandmas and grandads to sit and relax and chat while children play in safety. People who are on their own can come here to meet others and find a friendly face, and Coffee Cup has become an important part of the week for many.

If you haven't been before,  what are you waiting for?????????

IT'S FREE!!!
